"SawStop reminds me of the airbag in a car...

... You don't see it, notice it or think about it until after the incident and then you think whoa, that just saved me." –Dr. Reid Mueler, hand surgeon.

SawStop is recognized by the industry, as well as its consumers as

North America’s #1 Saw

Hobbyists, contractors, cabinet makers, DIY’ers, celebrities and educators choose SawStop everyday. It’s the no-compromise SawStop engineering that makes them choose these saws. The safety comes first, and is followed by unmatched quality, precision and meticulous engineering. SawStop saws are built to last, built to cut, and built to protect.

When SawStop appeared on the market in 2005, the saws took the industry by storm. We addressed a problem that seemed unsolvable, and that most had accepted as the norm. Media large and small, from Time Magazine to bloggers across the internet lauded this amazing marriage of innovation and quality.

“Pretty amazing that I only had to put on a band-aid. The saw reacted so quickly that I didn’t even know what had happened. Saved my thumb from a serious injury and saved my company lots of money.”

10 Amputations Everyday

Table saws cause tens of thousands of serious injuries every year. In fact, there is a table saw accident in the United States every 9 minutes, and 10 amputations every single day. The societal cost of these injuries is in the billions of dollars, and the impact on victims cannot be counted.

SawStop minimizes these injuries by stopping the blade within 5 milliseconds of contact. That is ten times faster than a car’s airbag. Ten times faster than your reflexes can respond to danger.

Accident Victims

Brandan S.

"Table saws are not forgiving ... You have to live with this the rest of your life."

We are moving

We have outgrown our third headquarters, and are moving to a new, much larger home this week. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and support!

Effective February 1st, USA prices on most SawStop saws and many SawStop accessories will increase.

We continue to refuse to cut corners or compromise our dedication to product quality and customer care. After holding the line on prices for over a decade, we must make an adjustment to account for more than a decade of material, shipping and other cost increases. Our last price increase on saws was in 2008!

We don't like raising our prices, and we don't plan to make it a habit.

Price increases will vary by model and accessory. Some examples, expect the Contractor Saw to increase by $100, the Professional Cabinet Saw to increase by $150, and the Industrial Cabinet Saw to increase by $150-200 (the Jobsite Saw will not increase).

Thank you for your understanding and your support. For more information on expected price increases, please contact your local SawStop dealer.
