SawStop Launches New T-Glide Advance™ Rip Fence

Our newest fence fits onto saws with existing T-Glide rails for an easy upgrade.

TUALATIN, OREGON—Sept. 3, 2025: As part of SawStop’s constant efforts to innovate and develop safe and meaningful new products, the company today debuts the feature-laden T-Glide Advance rip fence for table saws. This fence delivers the same accuracy as SawStop’s Standard T-Glide fence as well as the ability to use accessories and provide solutions for various cutting tasks that can prove challenging with other fences.

The SawStop T-Glide Advance is built for use with the Industrial Cabinet Saw, Professional Cabinet Saw, and Contractor Saw, and is available at SawStop dealers across the United States, Canada, Australia, and select countries in Europe.

For those familiar with the Standard T-Glide fence, you’ll recognize similarities with the T-Glide Advance. At its heart is the same head and tube, so it mounts directly onto the same T-Glide fence rails without any modification. It locks parallel to the blade and uses the same fence scale for absolute precision. An aluminum face makes the T-Glide Advance stand out, with its Hi-Low construction built for use in “tall” mode as a standard rip fence, or in “low” mode where it can extend below the blade guard for narrow rip cuts. Invert the fence face in low position to use it as an “L” fence for flush-trimming or straight-edging stock. Separate scale indicators let you set the fence for precise cuts in either the high or low position without any need for recalibration.

A dovetail-shaped groove in the tall face provides a perfect place to attach accessories, such as feather boards or hold-downs. Included with the fence are two dovetail sliders that can be used to mount jigs, such as a sacrificial fence or a tall fence.

Because the aluminum face can slide forward and back along the tube, the operator can position it in front of the blade to use as a stop block for making repeated crosscuts with a miter gauge without the worry of the offcuts pinching between the blade and fence.

Twin rollers support the tail end of the tube for a smooth glide across the cast-iron tabletop.

The T-Glide Advance can also be used on the left side of the blade by switching the aluminum face to the opposite side of the tube.

“We are very excited about this new fence and the multiple benefits it provides for woodworkers,” said SawStop CEO Matt Howard. “Once you see what it’s capable of, you’re going to want one for your saw. And because it fits on our T-Glide rails, you can add this fence to your saw and use it almost right out of the box.”

The T-Glide Advance (ATGP-FA, $349; ATGI-FA, $399) is available in two sizes to fit our Professional Cabinet Saw and Contractor Saw (ATGP-FA) and Industrial Cabinet Saw (ATGI-FA).
