SawStop saves American businesses and insurance companies more than $5 million in ’08 and over $7.1 million in ’07
Tualatin, Ore. — The SawStop cabinet saw, which is the best selling and safest table saw on the market, was responsible for 75 reported “saves” (incidents where an individual touched the spinning blade and activated the safety feature) in woodshops across America during the period January through June 2008. These accidents, which would most likely have resulted in amputations with any other table saw, resulted only in minor scratches on the magnitude of a paper cut.
